Bruce passed away in the early morning of October 12, 2024, after fighting a legendary battle with medical issues. Bruce was a truck driver the majority of his life. His world revolved around his family and friends.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Sheila, sons Darrell (Keri), Dwayne (Valerie), daughter Debbie (Lorne), and grandchildren Steven, Tristan and Kaitlan, Tori and Amber, Caitlin, Riley (Catherine), Sarah and Kindall, and great-grandson Mason Bruce.
He is also survived by his brothers Allan and Ronald (Elvy), sisters Joyce and Helen (Toots), and in-laws Susie, Bernice, Amy, Rick (Paula) and Doreen.
Bruce was predeceased by his parents Joe and Lauretta, in-laws Archie and Margaret Ewen, siblings Orly, Bill, Bud and Pike, brothers-in-law Lloyd, Art, Garry and Bob, and sisters-in-law Margaret, Kay and Betty.
There will be no funeral as per Bruce’s wishes.
Private interment will be at the Welwyn Cemetery on Saturday, October 26 at 2 pm.
Lunch for family, friends and community will follow at 2:30 pm in the Welwyn Rink.
