
Tenielle Adele Boyd, 38, passed away just two weeks before her birthday. Born on April 2, 1986, in Brandon, Manitoba, Tenielle was a twin who was predeceased by her sister at birth, as well as her grandfather Norman Boyd, who died just a week before her passing. She was also preceded by her grandparents, Blanche Woods (2014) and Lloyd Woods (2010).
She is deeply mourned by her fiancée Morgan Richards, parents Ervin and Lorraine, brothers Tyler (wife Amanda, children Charlie, Amy, Clyde, and Ben) and Tim (wife Kelsey, children Aubrey, Ava, and Esmee), grandmother Susan Boyd, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her two dogs, Challa and Katana.
Tenielle spent 11 weeks in St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba before moving back to Rocanville, Sask. with her parents. She attended Rocanville School until Grade 2, then Langbank, and later finished her high school education in Moosomin, Sask. Her love for animals, especially dogs, was nurtured on the farm. She attended Brandon University for Business Administration but had to stop due to health issues. She later pursued a career as an EMT, graduating from Lac La Biche College. She worked in Northern Alberta for many years, moving to Spruce Grove in late 2023 due to declining health.
In February 2025, Tenielle was diagnosed with terminal cancer and spent her final weeks living with peace, supported by her deep faith in God. She passed away on March 16, 2025, at 10:22 pm in Stony Plain, Alberta with her family by her side.
A memorial service will be held for Tenielle on April 5, 2025, at 11 am at the Heritage Park Community Center in Stony Plain, Alberta followed by a lunch.
