With profound sadness in our hearts, we the children of Harold Milton Rothwell announce his passing on March 25, 2025 at the age of 99 years and 3 months. Dad was born December 25, 1925 in Moose Jaw. The family farmed at Belle Plain into the late 1930’s. At that time they moved to Fairlight. It was in Fairlight at a dance that dad met his soul mate and love of his life—Florence Elmslie. Needless to say, the rest consisted of a lifetime of 74 years together. During these years they raised two children, Linda and Warren.

Family was everything to dad and many hours of hard work and dedication to them made him the wonderful loving man he was. He worked as a mechanic during the week and then spent weekends at the farm where mom and him loved to be.
After dad retired they moved back to the farm full time where he puttered with wood working in his shop, producing beautiful pieces from doll beds, treasure chests, stools, trivits, etc for family and friends, that are cherished to this day.

Dad was predeceased by his beloved soul mate of 74 years, Florence, just a mere five months and one day before him. He leaves a loving memory of his life with Linda (Kevin), Warren (Tracey), his mini stars in his heart, seven grandchildren: Shawn (Kelley), Kathy (Chris), Christopher (Beth), Tyler (Megean), Jared (Samantha), Kimberly (Colton), and Meagan (Justin). He also had seven great-grandchildren: Andie, Cooper, Elijah, Asher, Logan, Bodhi and Braylon. Additionally, his sister Gwen Rothwell, along with numerous nieces, nephews and many dear family and friends. Remember the fun loving special man he was and is now at peace.

Join us in the late spring, early summer for a combined celebration of Dad and Mom’s amazing life.
