Esterhazy Moonlight Magic will be Dec. 4

vent. Moonlight Magic will be on Thursday, December 4 this year. There will be a tree lighting and other events on that night, with the town partnering with downtown businesses to put on the event.
In the past the town has held its Moonlight Magic on a Friday with Winter Fest following on Saturday and Sunday. There will be no Winter Fest in Esterhazy this year, and the town made the decision to hold its Moonlight Magic on a Thursday night instead of a Friday night.
Upgrades and repairs at Dana Antal Arena
The new girls changeroom at the Dana Antal Arena is nearing completion and will include a new shower and washroom. Nutrien has donated $10,000 toward the project.
Repairs are also taking place to the change room showers at the arena, and will be completed soon. The town says they are waiting on parts in order to finish the repairs.
Transfer of tax title property
At their meeting on Thursday, council approved the transfer of title for a property in the final stages of tax enforcement. The property will be offered for sale within one year, which is required by legislation.
Bylaw amended to ensure consistent appearance of crosswalks
Council passed an amendment to the town’s traffic bylaw. The amendment will ensure a consistent appearance for all crosswalks while maintaining public safety and compliance for traffic marking standards.
