It is with deep sadness, the family of Larry Robert Tomlinson announces his peaceful passing at Moosomin Hospital on January 26, 2026, surrounded by the same love and devotion he so generously gave throughout his life.
Larry was a man of quiet strength, gentleness, steadiness, and profound dependability. He did not need grand gestures or many words to show he cared. Instead, he demonstrated his love through hard work, fairness, and an unwavering commitment to doing what was right. His actions spoke for him, and through them, he shaped the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Larry shared a lifetime of love with his wife, Margaret Joyce Tomlinson, with whom he built a home grounded in loyalty, partnership, and family. He was a devoted father to his sons Robert Tomlinson (Shannon) and Tyler Tomlinson (Veronica), and a proud, joyful grandfather to Abbey, Kyla, Austin, Harmony, and Brooklyn. His family was the center of his world, and his love for them was constant, quiet, and deeply felt. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister Heather Williams, her sons Kristian, Jason (Nikki) and a wide circle of extended family and friends whose lives he touched over his many years.
Those who knew Larry will remember his calm presence, his reliability, and his genuine kindness. He never sought recognition, yet his influence ran deep as seen in the relationships he built, the community he supported, and the example he set. His legacy endures in the values he lived by and passed on, and in the many memories held close by those who loved him. Larry will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
