Susana Francis Marsh passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Southeast Integrated Care Centre Long-term Care in Moosomin, Saskatchewan at the age of 89 years.
Susana was predeceased by her husband Bill Marsh after 66 years of marriage, sister Mary (Alf), brothers Pete (Irene), Herman (Muriel), and Henry (June), as well as brothers-in-law Bud (Betty), Orlie (Kay), Pike, Allen (Margaret), Lloyd and Art.
She is survived by her daughter Diane (Mike), son Terry, grandchildren Amanda (Rick) and Justin, brother William (Judy), brother-in-law Ronald (Elvy), and sisters-in-law Helen, Joyce, Sheila, Bernice and Judy.
Susana was born to Mike and Katherine Griemann on July 13, 1936. She went to School at Old Welwyn and then finished at Welwyn School.
Susana worked at the Bank of Toronto for two years where she met Bill Marsh in 1956 and they continued to farm for 40 years.
She then retired to the town of Welwyn and lived there until 2018, then moved to Moosomin at Sterling Manor and then over to Long Term Care in 2022.
Susie, as she was called had many friends, belonged to many clubs and she enjoyed playing cards and dancing.
Susie’s many talents were baking, sewing and gardening. All who came to visit, even the odd traveling salesman, were invited to stay for meals and treats.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
For those who so desire, memorial tributes in memory of Susie may be made to Welwyn United Church, Welwyn Cemetery, or Moosomin and District Healthcare Foundation for SEICC LTC.
