Margaret Mary Gibson was born on June 28, 1949, in Toronto, Ontario to Robert and Margaret Gibson. Margaret attended Mount Dennis Public School from K-8 and York Memorial High School for Grades 9-10. After that she began working.

In 1969 Margaret moved to Saskatchewan with Donald and they were married the year after in Welwyn on May 16, 1970. They lived in Saskatoon from 1970-1972 before moving to Rocanville in 1972. In 1975 they moved out to the farm at Welwyn where she stayed until she moved to Rocanville because of health reasons.

Margaret held a variety of jobs throughout her life, but in the end, it was mostly accounting and her gift with numbers that she used. She had many hobbies throughout the years and was always willing to try out new hobbies.
In 1976 they adopted a son and named him Aaron. In 1979 they adopted a daughter and named her Amber. The addition of grandkids happened in the years 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005, and 2006.

Margaret was very strong with her faith and although fighting numerous health battles in the past years, she had a strong will to live. Being a diabetic for 61 years was a huge battle.

Margaret was predeceased by her mother Peggy and father Bob Gibson, mother-in-law Ethel and father-in-law Bill Karras, sister Carolyn and brother-in-law Doug Lee, sister Lynda and brother-in-law John Grayson, sister Gloria McDonald, brother-in-law Ron Suderman, and brother-in-law Dan Halkowich.

Margaret leaves to mourn her loving husband of 55 years Donald, son Aaron (Jill) and grandson Logan, daughter Amber (Vern) and grandkids Brittany, Alexander, Julian and Lauren, her brother Bob (Hyacinth) Gibson, sisters-in law Beverly Suderman and Corleen Halkowich, and brother-in-law Trevor (Karen) Karras as well as many special nieces and nephews.
