Saskatchewan RCMP said in a news conference Monday morning that the public and the media were helpful in the arrest of Fahlman.

“Right at the onset of the investigation we put information out through our news partners to ask for people to come forward, where vehicles were identified, and asking for information from the public,” said Ashley St. Germaine, Senior Investigative Officer with the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crimes Branch.

“Those questions were answered. The public was extremely co-operative in providing us with information to forward the investigation, and our news partners were very helpful in making sure that we were able to get that information out there so that we could forward this investigation. Our teams are extremely appreciative of that.” Tweet
